When you´re stuck at Heathrow airport

It seems that I´m blogging about our trip to London backwards since I´m gonna start with our last day at Heathrow.
Det verkar som att jag kommer att blogga om vår Londonresa baklänges eftersom jag börjar med vår sista dag på Heathrow.

This year we flew with British Airways which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very professional, we got a cold meal on the plane and we got to terminal 5 on Heathrow. Before we´ve always ended up at terminal 1-3 which is really worn out and shabby looking. Terminal 5 was fresh, airy and easy to access with the tube!
Den här gången flög vi med British Airways och det var en trevlig överraskning! Personalen var proffsig, vi fick mat på planet och vi kom till terminal 5 på Heathrow. Förut när vi åkt till London har vi hamnat på terminal 1-3 där det verkligen är slitet och gammaldags. Terminal 5 var modernt och fräscht och lätt att nå tunnelbanan!

Anyway - in the security check we both forgot that we had a bottle of water in hubby´s backpack and we had to wait ages before getting through (like 40 min).
I alla fall - vid security check hade vi båda glömt en vattenflaska i makens rygga och vi fick vänta i en evighet innan det var klart (ca 40min).

Luckily we had got there with some time to spend so we figured that it was no problem - just boring to wait. 

Our plane home was due 17.50 but just after spending about an hour waiting we got the information that the plane was delayed to 19.00! So what do you do when you have to wait for about three hours?

Som tur var hade vi gott om tid så vi tänkte att det inte var några problem att hinna. Väl inne på området när vi hade varit där i ungefär en timme fick vi veta att planet var försenat. Så avgångstiden blev försenat från 17.50 till 19.00! Så vad gör man när man får vänta i lite mer än tre timmar?

You browse some of the taxfree stores - not the expensive ones like Chanel, Burberry´s, Mulberry, Bulgari, Gucci since they´re often empty except staff.

Du strövar runt i taxfreebutikerna - förutom de superdyra som Chanel, Burberry´s, Mullberry, Bulgari, Gucci. De är oftast folktomma, förutom personalen....

I think it was quite good and an easy read. 

Jag tycker att den var bra och lättläst - kan verkligen rekommendera den!

I promise I´m gonna get back with more about our trip.....

I´m baaaaack!

Hello lovelies! Did you miss me???

Now's hubby´s and mine mutual vacation over and we got to have some really good times together. First almost a whole week in London and then relaxing at home. So he´s back to work - but I got more than a month left and I´m soo gonna enjoy it.

I think I´ve never shopped as much on a vacation as this one to London. I almost didn´t get it all home! Luckily hubby had some space left in his suitcase that I could borrow. London is like a white spot on the map when it comes to scrapbooking but they have one little adorable shop (at least what I know) called Blade Rubber Stamps. I found these stamps that I absolutely had to have:

I also bought some scrapbook magazines when I was there and they have A LOT to choose from. I grabbed these:

The prices for the magazines are ridiculous compared with what I have to pay here in Sweden for the same pages. I paid about 50 sek for "Cardmaking and Papercraft" and in the store at home they want  115 sek for the same issue! I can´t for my life understand why they get so pricey here. The one on the bottom is actually such a crazy deal from Crafter´s Companion. It´s a package loaded with stuff- magazine, clearstamps, scrapbooking papers AND a CD-rom with lots of stuff and I paid about 80 sek! 

Sooo, what did I buy that took all that space then? Loads of clothes to be honest AND new shoes but here are my favs:

I´ve been dreaming a long time to get my hands on that Barbour jacket so when I found that wonderful Barbour shop there was no turning back! I just love it and I know it´s such a good investment. 

Another thing I was hoping to find was a nice Cath Kidston bag and I´m so pleased with the one I found. On Heathrow they had a Cath Kidston shop - with a huge sale which was a bummer considering I bought that bag earlier - so I bought the sweet wallet too.

Vilken superhelg - och vilken supervecka!!!!

Hela helgen har jag spenderat nere hos Reprint tillsammans med nästan hela DT-gänget och goa Marie och Ulrika. Vi har planerat, pysslat, skrattat, varit allvarliga, badat i poolen, ätit gott och druckit gott. Det har varit fantastiskt kul att umgås allesammans och så härligt att vi alla har träffats "på riktigt". Jag är verkligen lyckligt lottad att få umgås med så många goa och fantastiska vänner! Här är lite sköna bilder:

Denna gången blev det också en liten omväg via Ge-kås, men fy vilken tid det tog i kassakön! Kassörskan måste ha rekord i seghet....

Imorgon åker jag och mannen till underbara LONDON och jag är verkligen supertaggad!!! Det ska bli så vansinnigt kul! Sämre början kunde man ju ha på sin semester....

Ha det så gott allesammans för nu tar jag paus från bloggen i två veckor!

Oh my, oh my, oh my....This posting is sooo way overdue and I´m so sorry for it! Loads of stuff as usual to share so here we go....

As if this wasn´t  enough I´m taking part of TWO challenges online right now. One is the Sweet Shoppe Summer Games over at SSD and the other is theMScraps Oscars. They´re a little different from each other. At Sweet Shoppe there´s a total of six different challenges - two of them are team challenges - and man are they a challenge or what???
