Hello Summer!

I´m so happy that it´s summer again and will really try to enjoy it as much as possible. Days like these when the sun is shining and the temperature outside is perfect you just want to be outside as much as possible. I have a feeling that I´ll be doing a lot of scrapping outdoors this summer too.

So many great things are happening today. I have two blog posts to share, the new ScrapStack release AND two stunning releases from my designers.

First off is this layout that I´ve made for Pysseldags ( a Swedish online shop for stamps):

The quote stamp is from Pysseldags as the clock, coffee stain and the postage stamps - find the links here. The gorgeous background paper is from Glitz. All the other patterned papers are from Lyric collection paper pad by Prima and by fuzzy cutting some of them I got wonderful embellishments. Also used are bling from Reprint, sticker from Heidi Swapp, tissue tape from Tim Holtz, vintage lace,  rosette flower, string and cork heart.

Next up is from today´s post at Allt om Scrap. We got the assignment to create something that has to do with summer. I made this layout with the lyrics from one of my favorite Swedish summer songs called "Ida´s Summer song":

I used a new kit from Juno Designs and Amanda Yi called  Project Spring - In my garden:

Next for today I give you the new Scrap Pack release from ScrapStacks:

I can honestly say BUY THIS!!! I love every kit in this pack and they´re a pure deligt to work with. And for only $5 it´s a steal! You can actually see my layout above but here´s one in close-up:

I´ve been using the kit by Cluster Queen creations called Sunkissed.

Finally for today are the new releases from my assigned designers. This is a new release from Juno Designs at The Digichick:

...and yes you can buy them separately too - but you won't get the mixed media bonus pages...
I made this layout:

Next is a kit from Ju Kneipp at Sweet Shoppe Designs:

I really have a soft spot for all kinds of ocean/sea themed kits even though I have a looooong way to the nearest sea. I´d love to live near the sea! Here´s my layout:

Thanks for popping by and I hope you got some inspiration! As always I would love a comment... ;)

Such a SCRAPPY day!

Today has been such a fun day! I spent a big part of the day in Jönköping on a scrap meeting and got some work done in my Project Life album. Here´s a page:

I used my beloved Core kit Midnight - again. To spice it up I used a little of this and that:
  • Stamps from Pysseldags (read about it HERE)
  • Stamps from Heidi Swapp
  • Home made flairs and some from a Swedish PL Facabook group
  • Chipboard clouds from Studio Calico
  • Washi tape and dymo
  • Ephemera from Heidi Swapp
  • Self made filler card
  • My own quote written in the Rhonna Farrer app for iPhone

********************************************************************************

I also made two new layouts using a new kit from Juliana Kneipp called Wood you? and for one of them I used one of her new templates from A lot of photos 2:

I guess that´s it for today! Happy Scrapping

Aaaaand since it´s Sunday it´s also time for a new blog post at Allt om Scrap. The theme for this "issue" was easter and candy related things. I came up with this layout:

Now - for this layout I used a quirky kit by Juliana Kneipp and Mari Koegelenberg called A sweet golden ticket that is no longer available:

I´m sure you wanna check out the whole blogpost with more inspiring stuff over at Allt om Scrap. All you have to do is click HERE.

Lucky me to get to work with Ju Kneipp!

I can honestly say that if I hadn´t been on Ju Kneipp´s CT I would stalk her store for her gorgeous and unique kits. I love her papers and the quirky mix of embellishments. These are the latest releases:

Boyhood adventures:

I made this layout using a template from Akizo:

Laid back Sunday

It has really been bad weather today - windy and a lot of snow. Despite that we got in the car to visit the inlaws for a cozy advent time. It usually takes about 40 min to get there but today it was an hour drive due to the weather.

So we´ve really kicked back this Sunday and haven´t been up to any chores at all - if you don´t count the dog.

Today is also the day for a new Sunday issue of Allt om Scrap. This time we had to make something that included cork so I made this layout (of course there´s a thing as digital cork!!!):

As you can see this is a really personal layout about the rough time I´ve been through this fall. I still struggle to get to terms with all the consequences of going through such a big surgery.

Read and see all the other stuff with cork at Allt om Scrap by clicking HERE.

I also forgot to post this on Thursday: Allt om Scrap is running a sketch challenge through December using this sketch by Riikka Kovasin:

Find the original post HERE.

This is my version of the sketch:

I also have three other layouts to show you. The first one is for Juno Designs using her new wonderful Christmas kit:

My layout:

The second one is made with a new element pack by Juliana Kneipp and a retired collab kit by her and Traci Reed:

 My layout:

OK- so you saw my last post that was just about Nelson Mandela and I felt I just had to make a layout with him so here goes:

Black Friday

Isn´t it funny how things can spread through the world without having anything to do with the country you live in? Take Black Friday: It´s THE shopping day in USA and goes together with one of their biggest tradions - Thanksgiving. So do we celebrate Thanksgiving in Sweden or anywhere else in Europe? Nooo...but still there´s popping up "Black Friday" sales here to....

For me it´s kinda Black Friday in two ways this year.
1. I got loads of goodies from my digital designers that they´re releasing this weekend.
2. I´ve got the cold of the year right now.

So let´s not spend time on the boring stuff (me being sick) and concentrate of all the goodies you don´t wanna miss. And YES there will be lots of pics this time.....

Juno Designs have moved store since ScrapMatters is closing (sob, sob) and is guesting at The DigiChick now. Here´s one new release and two re-releases:

My layouts:

Angelle Designs over at Memory Scraps has a little new mini kit:

Something made me think of The Hunger Games (I saw it last Friday - and LOVED it btw) and I made this:

Two of my designer´s store is Sweet Shoppe Designs -Mari Koegelenberg and Juliana Kneipp. Let´s start with Mari this time:

(you can buy all the parts separately too...)

I have a really strong feeling that I´ll be using the Document 2014 for my Project Life next year and that adorable Christmas kit will probably end up as a design for my blog.... ;D. I made these two layouts so far:

Now brace yourself since Juliana sure has been on a roll this time and have so many products for this weekend:

(also sold separately)

As I told you before I recently went to the movies so it wasn´t hard to find inspiration for the "Lights! Camera! Action!" kit.

I´m in love with all the gold stuff that she created and I can see me using them in so many creations to come to make that little extra. Here´s my first layout using the stuff + background paper from "Keep the Faith:

I hope you all get to have a wonderful weekend. For myself I really hope that this cold will get better SOON!!!
Hugs, Carina
