Pysselhelg i Furusjö

Love is amazing

We live in a fantastic country that fights for people´s equal value and rights. Today I´m proud to show you two wedding cards made with the stamps for same-sex marriages that you can find at Pysseldags, designed by Pernilla.

Ladies first:

Then the gentlemen:

Aren´t they just wonderful? I chose to color them in really romantic colors with Promarkers bu you could easily achieve a whole different look using other colors. Here are the links to all the stamps I´ve used from Pysseldags:
Lots of the patterned papers are from Reprint, but you can find some scrap pieces from Tilda Design, MemoryMakers and others.

Thanks for stopping by and remember - LOVE conquers all! <3 p="">

May the 4th be with you!

Today is a big day if you are a Star Wars fan like me! If I hadn´t been to work today I would spend my day in the sofa having a Star Wars bonanza watching the films and eating popcorn.

However - I did color a digistamp that I have by Mayzy Art with Leia and Han Solo that will be one of my filler cards for this week in my PL album:

Since it´s sized to fit a 3x4 pocket the stamp got really small but I´m glad I managed to stay inside most of the lines with my Promarkers.

So if you´re NOT busy today you know what I think you should do!!! ;D

I *heart* Some Odd Girl

Hi everyone!
Have I ever mentioned that I love the stamps from Some Odd Girl? If not I´m doing it now - if I have then I´m doing it again.... ;D

Most of my stamps from there a digital - I just love the digistamps - but recently I bought some clearstamps since some of her stamps just releases as clears. I just couldn´t resist the little mermaids:

You can buy your stamps directly from Some Odd Girl, but I bought mine from a Swedish online shop - Mollys Scrapbooking. I also got these from the same shop that were on sale:

I think I got lucky with that last one - it´s not in the store at Mollys Scrapbooking OR Some Odd Girl anymore....

I´ve been having so much fun coloring the mermaids and their friends with my ProMarkers and I got a card to show you that is for the monthly challenge over at Some Odd Girl:

If you look closely you can see that I put some Stickles on her to give her some sparkles. I made the background with different papers from Imaginisce, Jillibean Soup and Sassafras Lass. The flowers are from Prima and the half pearls from Reprint. She´s sitting on a paper rosette that I made from a Tim Holtz die.

I guess that´s it for today. Tomorrow I will be back with my posting for Reprint Artstamps.

Good Luck card

En på jobbet ska byta tjänst men inte skola, så jag har gjort ett litet lycka till-kort till henne:

A co-worker is getting a new employment but is not changing school, so I made her a little Good Luck card:

På baksidan / On the back:

Don´t you just love that girl stamp? It´s a new one releasing later this year for Reprint. I hand painted the branch she´s sitting on and it´s colored with both ProMarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. The lovely papers are from BoBunny.
You can see a total list over the supply over at Reprint´s blog.

Lots of love and happy thoughts to you all! ;D

Longest pause ever....

Hi again! It´s me - Carina. Do you remember me? Can´t blame you if you don´t *giggles*! Believe me when I say that I did not plan to be absent for almost a month. Things have really been super busy around here, but I´m hoping to get into the blogging swing again now.

I see I passed the 10 000 mark, but I haven´t any surprise for you today I´m afraid. But I promise - it´s coming this weekend! ;D

So what have I´ve been up to then these last weeks? I´m not gonna bore you so I´m sticking to my crafty/digital stuff. This time I´m sticking to linked picks mainly so you can check them out more in detail.

Digital stuff:

Crafty Stuff for Reprint:

Are you still here? Good - since I´m not finished yet....
Lucky me I got to try our the Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter´s Companion. They´re an alcohol based pen similar to Copics and ProMarkers, but much cheaper. They come in a wide range of colors, are refillable and you can exchange the nib. I´ve used them on the cards above with the girl and the bear. Now I´ve been testing them a little more and I thought I´d show you the same stamped motif colored either with ProMarkers or Spectrum Noir. I tried to get colors that were alike but it was really hard. I´m gonna let you guess which is which - and no cheating by checking further down! ;D

Can you see it???

OK - the #1 is colored with ProMarkers and #2 is colored with Spectrum Noir.

How about this lady?

Don´t mind that the hat looks a bit fussy - it´s actually my photo that´s a bit blurry...
Well - she´s colored with BOTH ProMarkers and Spectrum Noir.

So what´s my personal opinion? It´s no secret I´m a hardcore ProMarker, but I have to say that the Spectrum Noir pens impressed me with their rich colors AND that they´re really affordable! The Spectrum Noir pens are sold in packs of 6 for about 75 SEK and one ProMarker pen costs about 30-35 SEK each.

The motives I colored are digital stamps from Tiddly Inks, printed on photo album paper on a regular inkjet printer from Epson. As you can see if you look closer on the pics above the Spectrum Noir pens seem to have a tendency to bleed a little more, but I think it´s more the paper than the ink.

My conclusion: I love my ProMarkers but will use my Spectrum Noir pens as a complement for all the gorgeous colors! With the right paper and ink they´ll be a PERFECT match!

Lots of hugs
/Carina
