Kraft+ June challenge

Hi everyone!

Time to share a paper scrapbooking page that I made for one of my favorite challenges online - the Kraft+ challenge -using one of my to go products when I´m crafting which is kraft paper.

This month´s challenge is Kraft+One which means you have to use a kraft paper as base and then add just your favorite color.

My all time fav colors are PINK and then green and this time I went with pink:

Most of the things I used are from Studio Calico like all the papers, almost all the embelishments and the text stamps. The little wood bird, strings, paper doily and the washi tapes are of unknown brand.

The digital stamp in the shape of an owl is from Skaparkällarn and colored with Promarkers.

I did this on a little scrap meeting I had with friends and I had limited things to use so I´m really pleased with how this turned out!

Tomorrow is the last day of school before the summer holiday for my pupils. After that I have to work about three days next week and then I´m ON VACATION!!! Such happy days ahead!

CSI case file #229

I always try to do the monthly major case file over at CSI and this time it looks like this:

I love playing with Em´s templates (and I´m not just saying this since I´m her team) and this is how my layout turned out:

Now, there are rules to follow when you´re doing the Case Files and here´s how I solved this one:

• Colors: Used all fives
• Evidence - least 3 clues: plain cardstock, stripes and arrows. I also added flowers, something loopy (the string) and phrase stickers.
• Testimony: I went with the word BRIGHT which I felt suited the theme of the layout.

Finally - the kit I used for this layout is called Clean slate - a collab by Amanda Yi and Dream Big Designs, SSD. I did recolor some things to make it fit the challenge more.

I hope you got inspired to solve the case. These challenges are so much fun!

Goodness me! I can´t believe I haven´t been here for such a long time now. There has been so much stuff going on lately and I´ll make another blogpost this weekend.

More layouts for 30 Days of Gratitude

Hi there!

I AM behind with making my layouts for the 30 Days prompts but I´m determined to finish them - even if it´s in my own pace.

En enkel kortvikning till PL

När vi fick DT-utmaningen hos Pysseldags att göra en kortvikning ska jag ärligt säga att jag blev lite ställd då jag inte ser mig som en kortmakare i första hand. Visst - jag gör kort, men jag är ingen hejare på en massa spännande vikningar.

Så därför kommer jag att presentera en enkel kortvikning anpassad till mitt PL-album som jag kommer att använda till de sidor som jag kommer att göra om vår resa som vi gjorde till London i somras. Efter att ha sorterat ut de kort som jag skulle vilja ha med landade det på mer än 90 (!!!) kort så jag började fundera på hur jag skulle kunna klämma in så mycket som möjligt på dessa sidor utan att det skulle kännas för rörigt. Då föddes idén till att göra egna fillercards som går att veckla ut för att kunna skriva mera men även att få in flera mindre foton i en ficka. Som inspiration har jag använt de kort som kan vikas på mitten för s k "hidden journaling" men jag VILL ju att folk ska kunna/våga öppna dom. Så jag gjorde ett kort som kan vikas ut till 3x3 sidor.

Tanken är att jag ska fylla de sidor som det är blommönstrat papper på med mindre foton. De andra ska jag göra någon typ av journaling i form av tags, biljetter eller kanske pratbubblor.

Jag har stämplat alla de mönstrade papperna med stänkstämpeln från Pysseldags för att ge dom en lite sliten känsla. Sedan har jag använt flera av de engelska hashtags-stämplarna på lite olika ställen blandat med två andra stämpelset som jag har hemma med motiv från London. Allt är stämplat med Distress Ink Walnut Stain. Jag piffade sen till det med lite washitape, en liten kamera i trä och en pappersdekoration.

Som sagt - inte den mest avancerade kortvikningstekniken - men en fiffig lösning att få in mer i mitt PL-album!

2014 Summer Shadowbox Challenge

I know this is totally crazy and I hope I´ll be able to keep up with this when I start working, but I´m participating in the new challenge over at Sweet Shoppe Designs called 2014 Summer Shadowbox Challenge. Each day you get a new challenge that you can interpretive in two different ways. So if I fulfill this challenge I will have finished 62 LAYOUTS in one month! That´s really crazy when I get thinking... Aaaaaanyway - only a few days in and here´s what I´ve done so far:

On top of this I have all the layouts I´m making for my designers. Scrap Stacks has just released a new monthly pack with these kits:

So this makes a total of 9 layouts so far (not mention the one I have waiting for kit release)!
