New layouts!

One good thing with having a vacation and that the weather isn´t the best is that you get time to scrap! I made some new layouts for TDC - both CT and for challenges. The first two are made with a new collection by Aimee Harrison called Watermelon Love:

The following three are made for TDC challenges. The first one is for the scraplift challenge and I had these sweet pics of my dogs that I wanted to use:

I used stuff from this gorgeous collection which I totally adore by Akizo Designs:

The second one is for the Tic Tac Toe challenge. I gotta admit that when I first saw the options for this challenge I saw that it was very patriotic and I didn't´t know if I was gonna do it. But then I got thinking and ended up doing a page about how much I wanna visit USA:

For this one I used an oldie but goodie kit by Veró:

The third is for the Title It challenge. The challenge was to make a title where the letter´s aren´t in a straight line so I made this about my new haircut:

For this I used a kit that I totally adore by et designs! Just look at this:

I also used the alpha:

I think that sometimes we´re so eager to look at what´s new in a shop and forget to look at older products. By doing that we are missing out on so many hidden gems. I changed my way how to find kits by sometimes just using the search engine in a store and typing in a word that I am thinking about at that moment. I found A LOT of goodies - trust me on that! Why don´t you try too?

CSI case file #229

I always try to do the monthly major case file over at CSI and this time it looks like this:

I love playing with Em´s templates (and I´m not just saying this since I´m her team) and this is how my layout turned out:

Now, there are rules to follow when you´re doing the Case Files and here´s how I solved this one:

• Colors: Used all fives
• Evidence - least 3 clues: plain cardstock, stripes and arrows. I also added flowers, something loopy (the string) and phrase stickers.
• Testimony: I went with the word BRIGHT which I felt suited the theme of the layout.

Finally - the kit I used for this layout is called Clean slate - a collab by Amanda Yi and Dream Big Designs, SSD. I did recolor some things to make it fit the challenge more.

I hope you got inspired to solve the case. These challenges are so much fun!

CSI Major Case File no.217

Hi peeps!

I almost forgot to post my layout for the Major Case File over at CSI. This is what you have to go after:

I used all the colors; wood, penwork, animals, leaves and documented about autumn. The kits I used are Woodland Walks by On A Whimsical Adventure, TDC and Hello Autumn elements by Paula Kesselring, TLP.

Woohoo! I got a badge!

I just found out the other day I won a badge for the layout I did for the #188 Case File at CSI (link to the right)! So now I can use this one if I want:

Till pappa

Nu i helgen är det ju dags att fira Fars Dag och det kan ju se lite olika ut hur man firar det. Hemma hos oss nöjer vi oss med frukost på sängen och en trevlig fika.

För en gångs skull hade jag tänkt att hinna göra Fars Dags-kort och skicka till min pappa (och min man) men så pajade min skrivare - typiskt! Därför fick det bli en layout istället:

Den här stämpeln passar perfekt till min pappa för han rockar verkligen och är fortfarande ung i sinnet. Han finns alltid där för mig och han en underbar pappa! Som ni kan se har han alltid glimten i ögat och gillar att spexa - vilket jag tror har gått i arv för jag har också svårt att vara seriös på foton...

Den fina stämpeln som jag har använt finns HÄR hos Pysseldags.

Som ni säkert har räknat ut är min layout digital och jag har använt ett kit som heter "You are worth it" av Captivated Vision.

Ha nu en riktigt skön helg och gratta alla härliga pappor därute. Ett telefonsamtal kommer man långt med....

Falköpings scrapmara

Förra lördagen var jag på Falköpings Scrapmara som arrangeras av Scrapfabriken. Denna gången var det ungefär hälften så många som hade anmält sig men det var precis lika trevligt som vanligt! 

Jag tror aldrig att jag har åkt med så lite packning:

Det enda jag kände att jag missade var min dymo! Helt fantastiskt!

Jag var där med flera scrapkompisar och vi hade hysteriskt roligt! Vi skrattade så att tårarna rann och vi kommer nog aldrig att kunna se morötter eller tänka på pimpsten som vi gjort förr...

När vi kom fick vi detta välkomstpaket:

Dessutom var det en massa god mat, fika och godsaker under dagen.

Självklart har jag gjort en scrapsida på eventet:

Layouten är digital och du hittar all materialinfo HÄR.

Jag var med i två utmaningar. Den första var att skapa något med en bild på sig själv och ordet "Självis". Jag gjorde den här layouten:

Den andra utmaningen bestod i att skapa ett kort med ett stämpelmotiv som någon annan hade färglagt innan träffen:

Jag vann en utlottad vinst med kortet bestående av två stämplar, fyra 6x6 papper och några blommor från Magnolia. Jag har inte bestämt mig än om jag ska behålla stämplarna eller inte då jag inte är något superfan av Magnolia.

Dessutom gjorde jag lite i mitt PL-album men det har jag inte fotat ännu. Jag kommer tillbaka med bilder senare.... ;D

I confess

Today I confess. I´m one of all those bad people who´s flooding the digital galleries with my digital layouts by posting FIVE at almost the same time. I usually try to spread them out, but this time I have no other option that to post them ALL at the same time. I was late home today and I won´t be home all day tomorrow.

And now I´m gonna flood my blog with all those layouts - so brace yourselves!

First off is one where I try get some spring feeling using  Fresh as a daisy collab by Two Tiny Turtles and Studio Basic (at Scrap Stacks):

This one is made using a fab collection called Girl Friday by The Nifty Pixel, Scrap Stacks:

Now, who doesn´t LOVE donuts? Well, I do and I just love the gorgeous Life is sweet collection by Mari Koegelenberg and Mommyish over at The Digital Press:

For the next two I used the same collection by Wendy P at Scrap Stacks called The Sweetest Heart:

For the one at the top I also used a template from Two Tiny Turtles called Sweet as candy and for the bottom one from Wendy P from the set Scrap Pockets 3.

OK - so it was´t so bad was it?

It´s a spring thing

I´m so happy right now since I can feel that spring is on it´s way! It´s getting lighter and lighter every day and the sun´s feeling warmer. The birds are singing and I can see little bulbs peeking out in the garden. Just wish it was a little warmer though, but we´re getting there....
