New layouts!

One good thing with having a vacation and that the weather isn´t the best is that you get time to scrap! I made some new layouts for TDC - both CT and for challenges. The first two are made with a new collection by Aimee Harrison called Watermelon Love:

Here´s the collection:

The following three are made for TDC challenges. The first one is for the scraplift challenge and I had these sweet pics of my dogs that I wanted to use:

I used stuff from this gorgeous collection which I totally adore by Akizo Designs:

The second one is for the Tic Tac Toe challenge. I gotta admit that when I first saw the options for this challenge I saw that it was very patriotic and I didn't´t know if I was gonna do it. But then I got thinking and ended up doing a page about how much I wanna visit USA:

For this one I used an oldie but goodie kit by Veró:

The third is for the Title It challenge. The challenge was to make a title where the letter´s aren´t in a straight line so I made this about my new haircut:

For this I used a kit that I totally adore by et designs! Just look at this:

I also used the alpha:

I think that sometimes we´re so eager to look at what´s new in a shop and forget to look at older products. By doing that we are missing out on so many hidden gems. I changed my way how to find kits by sometimes just using the search engine in a store and typing in a word that I am thinking about at that moment. I found A LOT of goodies - trust me on that! Why don´t you try too?

More challenge layouts!

Hi everyone!
Here´s some new layouts that I made for the challenges over at TDC (The Digichick).

First off is the Use It All challenge. You get a mini kit from Snickerdoodle Designs and you have to use ALL that´s in it:

You´re also free to add thing if you want to. This time I decided that I would only use the stuff that´s provided but I did use a template by Aimee Harrison:

Next up is the Designer Spotlight challenge and in July that´s Aimee Harrison. This time the designer provided a free template to use and I found just the perfect kit for what I had in mind:

I made a layout about my summer booklist:

I actually love this kit so much so I decided to use it for another of the TDC challenges called Top Ten. Mine´s about the book series I love to follow and always look out for new ones - obviously not all of them are going to have more coming!

Of course my layouts are linked to my gallery at TDC for full credits. Hope you will do some of them too!

CSI case file #229

I always try to do the monthly major case file over at CSI and this time it looks like this:

I love playing with Em´s templates (and I´m not just saying this since I´m her team) and this is how my layout turned out:

Now, there are rules to follow when you´re doing the Case Files and here´s how I solved this one:
  • Colors: Used all fives
  • Evidence - least 3 clues: plain cardstock, stripes and arrows. I also added flowers, something loopy (the string) and phrase stickers.
  • Testimony: I went with the word BRIGHT which I felt suited the theme of the layout.
Finally - the kit I used for this layout is called Clean slate - a collab by Amanda Yi and Dream Big Designs, SSD. I did recolor some things to make it fit the challenge more.

I hope you got inspired to solve the case. These challenges are so much fun!

Summary of February challenges

During the month of February I managed to finish ALL the challenges at The DigiChick (TDC) and The Lily-Pad (TLP). I also did some layouts for my CT´s and five for the Bingo challenge at The Sweet Shoppe (SSD).

Since I CT for The Nifty Pixel at TDC and On A Whimsical Adventure at SSD I certainly use their wonderful designs for the challenges which is a win-win situation for all of us. I like doing the challenges and they get more attention when it comes to their products.

Thanks to a thread at TLP I discovered how to do simple collages in PSE so now I can show you all my layouts in one pic! Here are the layouts I made in February:

That´s 32 layouts in a month! No wonder I fill my printed photo albums for digiscrapping so fast!

I really think that challenges really boost my creativity and makes me do more different layouts. I´m still a one-photo layouts kinda girl but they don´t look the same. I´ve embraced the fact that I really like sticking to one photo when doing layouts - it´s what works best for me.

Hope you got some inspiration from ME this time - and don´t hesitate to do challenges! They´re fun and sometimes you even win stuff....😊

CSI Major Case File no.217

Hi peeps!

I almost forgot to post my layout for the Major Case File over at CSI. This is what you have to go after:

And since I´m on The Nifty Pixel CT I worked with her gorgeous template and came up with this:

I used all the colors; wood, penwork, animals, leaves and documented about autumn. The kits I used are Woodland Walks by On A Whimsical Adventure, TDC and Hello Autumn elements by Paula Kesselring, TLP.

See ya next time!

30 Days of Gratitude

November means that there´s always a 30 Days of Gratitude challenge somewhere and this year I decided to take part in The Lilypad´s:

The list is quite demanding but I love how it makes my head spin and challenge my creativity. I actually am quite up to date and have finished all days to the 11th. I´ve decided that I will either print the pages at home and put them in a 4x4 inches album or send them off to be printed into a book. I also decided to make as much as possible in Swedish since it´s my native language and in that way make it more personal. Here are my pages so far:

It´s really gonna be fun to see all the pages together when I´m done and I love playing with this art journaling style.

Have a great day!
