More challenge layouts!

Hi everyone!
Here´s some new layouts that I made for the challenges over at TDC (The Digichick).

First off is the Use It All challenge. You get a mini kit from Snickerdoodle Designs and you have to use ALL that´s in it:

You´re also free to add thing if you want to. This time I decided that I would only use the stuff that´s provided but I did use a template by Aimee Harrison:

Next up is the Designer Spotlight challenge and in July that´s Aimee Harrison. This time the designer provided a free template to use and I found just the perfect kit for what I had in mind:

I made a layout about my summer booklist:

I actually love this kit so much so I decided to use it for another of the TDC challenges called Top Ten. Mine´s about the book series I love to follow and always look out for new ones - obviously not all of them are going to have more coming!

Of course my layouts are linked to my gallery at TDC for full credits. Hope you will do some of them too!
Hugs, Carina

Happy Birthday!

I love making birthday cards! It feels so good to have a bunch finished around the house so that you don´t have to make one last minute. This time I´m showing you a really romantic card using the new Vintage Rose papers, cutouts and a new stamp:

Jag älskar att göra födelsedagskort! Det känns så bra att ha en bunt liggande hemma så att jag slipper göra ett i sista minuten. Den här gången kommer jag att visa ett riktigt romantiskt kort. Jag har använt den nya papperskollektionen Vintage Rose och en ny gratisstämpel från Reprint:

Här kommer en lista på vad jag har använt från Reprint/ Here´s a list of the things I´ve been using from Reprint:

Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful day!

My new CT spot

It´s been totally crazy with stuff both at home and at work which means my poor blog has to take a big toll on not being updated the way I´d like it to be.

With that said it´s about time that I told you that I´ve been honored to join another Creative Team. I´m so happy to say that I now do stuff for The Nifty Pixel. In my sidebar you can find a logo button that takes you straight to Em´s homepage where you can see all the wonderful things she does AND grab some awesome freebies too!

So here´s a showcase of the latest layouts I´ve done for The Nifty Pixel and linked products to her store over at Scrap Stacks:

And of course there´s loads and loads of more gorgeous stuff that you HAVE to check out so click HERE to go straight to her products. To be honest I haven´t linked to all the products I´ve used so I figured it would be more easy for you to just browse the shop.

Now I´m gonna continue to try to cure my nasty cold that I got....Lucky for me there´s computers and HBO to use on days like these.

Hoping to be back soon!
Hugs, Carina

A new month also mean that Scrap Stacks released a new Scrap Pack - which I´ve got the privilege to play with:

I just love that it has so many different kinds of kits this month AND some gorgeous templates from Fiddle-Dee-Dee! Here are three layouts that I´ve made:

If you´re doing hybrid/pocket scrapbooking too, be sure not to miss the printable pack over at ScrapStacks:

The printable pack always releases in the middle of the month so be sure to grab this pack before September 19! I can promise you that it´s gonna cost so much more when these goes on individual sale.

Happy Scrapping!

Bloggdags hos Pysseldags!

I made this card as a CT-member at the Swedish stamp company Pysseldags. You can find the links above to all the gorgeous stamps I used for them. The patterned papers are also Swedish design by K-Designs.

Put some effort into your title cards!

This is also something I made as my DT-assignement for the Swedish company Pysseldags, so if you feel more comfortable reading this in Swedish and find the links for their stamps, please click HERE.

As you probably know I´m into paper pocket scrapbooking and I´ve realized that something that gives a page that little extra is when you put some effort in the making of your title card.

I´ve also made peace with the fact that I´ll probably never be in phase with the current week but I´m getting better at making notes on what we´re doing so I have something to look back on when I´m
working with my pages.

So my latest title card is for week 22:

I´ve been using lots of yummy stuff here:
  • The title card is from Studio Calico
  • The clock stamp and the cute little hashtags in Swedish are from Pysseldags
  • The big letters and numbers are from "Antique typewriter wood stamp set" by Graphic 45
  • The big butterfly and the turquoise heart are from Becky Higgins
  • The flower and the black heart are from Pink Paislee
  • The brad with the ampersand is from Simple Stories.
I also made some doodle stitching with a black marker. For stamping words and letters I highly recommend using a Versafine stamp pad!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

2014 Summer Shadowbox Challenge

I know this is totally crazy and I hope I´ll be able to keep up with this when I start working, but I´m participating in the new challenge over at Sweet Shoppe Designs called 2014 Summer Shadowbox Challenge. Each day you get a new challenge that you can interpretive in two different ways. So if I fulfill this challenge I will have finished 62 LAYOUTS in one month! That´s really crazy when I get thinking... Aaaaaanyway - only a few days in and here´s what I´ve done so far:

On top of this I have all the layouts I´m making for my designers. Scrap Stacks has just released a new monthly pack with these kits:

I made these four layouts:

So this makes a total of 9 layouts so far (not mention the one I have waiting for kit release)!
Happy Scrapping!

Lots and lots of layouts

I´m a bit late again here but do I got things to show you today! Since it´s a new month it means a new awesome ScrapPack over at ScrapStacks:

ALL of those gorgeous kits for just $5 - it´s a steal! Let me show you what I made with them so far:

Away We Go - Word Art World:

 Family Time - Doris Castle:

Good Night Teddy - Chelles Creations:

Rainbow Ice - Hat of Bunny:

Maybe you remember me saying that I don´t actually buy so many digital kits - I´m so lucky with being on such awesome CT´s - but once in a while I see things that I just can´t resist buying. Like these goodies from Quirky Heart at The Lilypad:

I love, love, LOVE the artsy feeling to these and that alpha is just awesome! Many of these will get printed in some way for my paper pocket scrapbooking. So far I just made this little layout:

Then I TOTALLY felt like spending some cash and bought the whole Storyteller July collection from Just Jaime - also from the Lilypad:

Unpacking the goodies I felt - and still do - that they might be just a little to bold for me. Maybe they will grow on me. Anyhoooow - here´s a layout (and I do love that background paper!):

When I saw the Pocket Life: July collection by Traci Reed at Sweet Shoppe Designs I realized that this is really more true to my own style right now and I did buy the whole collection too even if I think it was a bit pricey:

On the upside of this is that since I bought stuff for $20 I got two free kits and they were so awesome:

Unpacking all of the things from Sweet Shoppe I felt: SCORE!!! Love them all and so worth the money!

When it comes to my designers I only got one product to show you - but it makes me wanna get working with my old Silhouette which is collecting dust here on my craft table:

I have made a layout with one of the words - but I promise to share with you when I finally work with my Silhouette in "real" paper... ;)

Now - you might wonder what I´m up to besides scrapping so here´s some...
  • Just chilling - eating too much and drinking wine and Pimm´s
  • Catching up on Game of Thrones. Right now I´m on part two, season four so no spoilers please!
  • Keeping up to date with one of my all time fav shows - True Blood!! I guess all things must come to an end but boohoo for leaving Bon Temps and all the folks - and other creatures- around there.
  • I´m taking up my sewing aging! Started on a new skirt that´s soon finished AND even bought some new pattern books.
  • Hanging around Facebook far too much...
  • READING!!! Finished two books by Michael McConnelly and now I´m reading Insurgent by Veronica Roth. Next up will either be Under the dome by Stephen King or Sleeping Arrangements by Sophie Kinsella.
  • I SHOULD get my act together and do some design job - and I´ve promised myself that I will start on Monday....
  • Just feeling blah to everything :(
So - I´ll be back soon ...hopefully... Have it awesome!
