Tuesday means blog day for me over at Pysseldags, so it´s time for a post in Swedish today. I hope you can enjoy my creation anyway.

Pysseldags har en textstämpel som jag tycker är så himla skön:

Så det var inte så svårt att komma igång med en ny sida i min art journal:

Jag började med att kladda ner hela sidan med gesso. Sen stämplade jag rosa splattar över hela sidan. Sedan stämplade jag flickan (från Stampotique Originals) och textstämpeln från Pysseldags. Jag klämde dit lite washitape i olika rosa nyanser. Sen stämplade jag återigen med splatterstämpeln men i svart den här gången samt poststämplar och en textstämpel från hashtags-kitet. Som pricken över i monterade jag en liten nyckel med ett fint band om.

Hoppas ni blev inspirerade att leka lite med era färger!

Christmas cards on kraft paper

Hi peeps!
It´s been waaaay too long but here I am with a post about Christmas cards!
When I started my planning for this years Christmas card I first planned to make one design on all of them with some moderations, but when I got going today I ended up doing different cards anyway - well almost on all...

I´m trying to make them clean and simple this year, inspired by my teammate from Pysseldags - Anna - who is a master of CAS cards. And just like that I got totally sold on stamping directly on card bases of kraft paper and coloring them with Distress Markers. Look at these:

Yay! I got my stamps!

This Friday I got my stamps that I´ve ordered from Stampotique and I´m over the moon about them!
Here are all of them:

I was really eager to play with them so I took out my water colors and got to work. Here they are - all finished and ready to be added to a project:

I gotta confess and say that two of the images have already been made into cards, but I can´t put them here before next week since I made them for my blog day over at Pysseldags.

Weekend at Pysseldags

I´m lucky to be on the CT for the Swedish company Pysseldags and this past weekend the whole team had a meet-up home at the owner and we had such a great time! Everyone in the team had a little course about something - mine was mixed media - and we all got to try out each others way to scrap!

First out was Pernilla who also designs all the wonderful figure stamps at Pysseldags. She showed us how she paints with water colors and how to draw with ink and a steel pen. Everyone in the team got spoiled with an own one-of-a-kind hand painted image to color, but this little boy will turn up in the shop as a little angel so be sure to keep your eyes out for this little adorable fellow:

I´m gonna frame him and put him on a special place in my home!

Next was Anna and we got scrap "Clean and simple" using a template and a maximum of three embellishments besides a stamp. That turned out to be a real challenge but it was great fun! Here´s my card:

Pocket Scrap Norway challenge, Sodalicious and Studio Calico

Surprise! Surprise! Here I am with a blog post and it´s not even Sunday!
First of all I wanna show you my Project Life page for week 40 that I did for a challenge over at Project Life Norway. You had to use washi, alpha and stickers AND the colors orange, yellow and brown. This sounded like a perfect way to start the month of October so I jumped ahead in my album and finished that spread first:

This might qualify as a hybrid project since I used a digital kit called Spooks by Deena Rutter (which is available over at Pixels & Co) for my title card and the journaling card. Do I have to tell you that is gorgeous? Besides that I used a lot of different stuff like alpha from Tim Holtz, stamps from Ali Edwards and Studio Calico, kraft paper, an old sticker by Elsie Flannigan, washitapes and fuzzy cut elements. The nice collage in the top right corner is made with the new Project Life app by Becky Higgins and then I added text with the Rhonna Farrer app.

It turned out pretty ok don´t you think?

I hope you´re all in the mood for a lot of pics now since I got two happy parcels in the mail today. One from Sodalicious and one from Studio Calico.

This was the first time I ordered from Sodalicious - which is a Polish online scrap store. I´ve been lurking around there a lot drooling over all their gorgeous stuff and finally I got around to order something. Don´t you just love the feeling when open a package and it looks like this:

 Here´s what was inside:

What you might not see is that there are actually four different alphas in different colors and three different scrapbook papers in a wonderful thick quality. I fell in love with that wooden stamp that looks so old fashioned!

My parcel from Studio Calico was a BEAST since I ordered two add-ons and a stamp kit plus my ordinary PL monthly. So here are all the pics of my goodies:

I just can´t wait to get working with all these gorgeous new stuff that´s hoarding the craft table right now! I´m such a happy girl! <3 p="">

Oh yes I did!

I finally did it and it didn´t come cheap. But I´ve been wanting them for such a long time that I couldn´t resist them anymore. I splurged and bought these wicked stamps from Stampotique:

I´ve been to maaaany scrap meet-ups and people really either love them or hate them. I adore them since they speak to that crazy Tim Burtonesque style that lies deep in my heart. I swear - if I´d live in London I would dress all goth and wear my hair like Helena Bonham- Carter:

But now I don´t. I live in a really small village and work as a teacher so I´m keeping a low profile....

Maybe when I get older and really don´t give a ..... what people think I will go all the way and be a badass lady!

I just hope they don´t take too long to land in my mail box and that they don´t get stuck in customs. Then it will be REALLY expensive....

I´m a big fan of the hashtag stamps from Pysseldags and this past week I finally got around to buy the little bigger ones in English:

Then I used them for a new page in my art journal:

....and a photo a little from the side so you can see the metallic shimmer:

First I covered the whole page with gesso.After that I used a scrapbook paper from Tim Holtz that I teared and used both the front and the back pattern to create a collage. I used some MpdgePodge to seal it.

The hearts are made using a mask from Heidi Swapp that I filled with acrylic paint. 

Then I sketched the girl using an ordinary pencil. She´s painted with acrylic paint, Pitt Big Brush Artist pens, Distress Markers and an acrylic paint with metallic shimmer. I also used different black markers for all the lines. Last I stamped the hashtags using a black StazOn pad.

Tags for Reprint

Hi everyone!

As you might have guessed today´s posting is about tags and I made THREE with the new adorable kitten stamps that Reprint´s releasing this fall.

On this one I stamped with  a Christmas stamp  using using a watermark stamp pad and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I used my distress ink pads and the distress tool to color the tag.

The second tag is made with Reprint´s A4 paper using the tag die from Tim Holtz. I also stamped with the star birthday stamp and doodled a bit:

The third one is also made with Reprint´s A4 papers and the same die:

ALL the stamps are colored with Spectrum Noir pens.

Here´s the list of the things I used from Reprint (and I hope I don´t miss anything...)

• Stamps: * Emelie´s kittens 898G, 899G, 901G * Christmas stamp OM736K *Grattis stjärna * Minnen
• Spectrum Noir pens
• Reprint papers A4: pink hearts, light green stripe, light green text
• Paper doilie, paper tag, snowflake charm and champagne bling stones
• Ribbons: white organza, green organza, cerise dotted organza, string of stars, rose ribbon and organza with hearts
• Distress ink pads and Distress ink tool
• Flowers: small burlap flowers, white rose, pink rose and pink flower.

I´m baaaaack!

Hello lovelies! Did you miss me???

Now's hubby´s and mine mutual vacation over and we got to have some really good times together. First almost a whole week in London and then relaxing at home. So he´s back to work - but I got more than a month left and I´m soo gonna enjoy it.

I think I´ve never shopped as much on a vacation as this one to London. I almost didn´t get it all home! Luckily hubby had some space left in his suitcase that I could borrow. London is like a white spot on the map when it comes to scrapbooking but they have one little adorable shop (at least what I know) called Blade Rubber Stamps. I found these stamps that I absolutely had to have:

I also bought some scrapbook magazines when I was there and they have A LOT to choose from. I grabbed these:

The prices for the magazines are ridiculous compared with what I have to pay here in Sweden for the same pages. I paid about 50 sek for "Cardmaking and Papercraft" and in the store at home they want  115 sek for the same issue! I can´t for my life understand why they get so pricey here. The one on the bottom is actually such a crazy deal from Crafter´s Companion. It´s a package loaded with stuff- magazine, clearstamps, scrapbooking papers AND a CD-rom with lots of stuff and I paid about 80 sek! 

Sooo, what did I buy that took all that space then? Loads of clothes to be honest AND new shoes but here are my favs:

I´ve been dreaming a long time to get my hands on that Barbour jacket so when I found that wonderful Barbour shop there was no turning back! I just love it and I know it´s such a good investment. 

Another thing I was hoping to find was a nice Cath Kidston bag and I´m so pleased with the one I found. On Heathrow they had a Cath Kidston shop - with a huge sale which was a bummer considering I bought that bag earlier - so I bought the sweet wallet too.
