Some cards up my sleeve

Sorry for the bad pun, but I couldn´t resist it! I actually made some Christmas cards that I intend to send to friends and family. Trust me when I say cardmaking is a struggle for me - don´t ask me why. So here they are:

Today I also realized I´m 6 cards short so this coming week I know what I have to do in my craft room. Luckily I have some colored images finished that I can use for my cards!

I hope you enjoyed todays post!

From me to you

Hejsan!

Today is my blog day for Pysseldags. This time I´ve made a card that´s decorated both on the outside and the inside. The text stamp is of course from Pysseldags and linked. Other things I´ve been using are patterned papers from Tim Holtz and Reprint (my own design). The vintage pic with the girl is also my design for Reprint. The laces are from my stash and the banner on the front I made myself.

Hoppas ni får en underbar dag!

Hope you get to have a great day!

My December Daily

Yeah, I finally found my way back to the blog and it´s really time I got some action here. So brace yourself for a super long photo post since I´m sharing my December Daily that I did in my Project Life album:

I mixed my regular 12x12 pages with smaller ones:

I managed to squeeze in some regular layouts too - like this one:

.... and this:

....and one more.....

The last day of 2014 - New Years Eve - we went for a walk and
the photos got their own spread without any text:

I´ve been using a lot of the Simple Studio´s Cozy Christmas collection and mixed it up with some of my own paper design. Then there´s the occasionally washi tape and stuff from Studio Calico.

I´m so pleased that I incorporated my DD in my ordinary Project Life-album this time.

Next blog post will be about the rest of my pages for 2014 - and YES I have completed my entire album! *insert happy dance here*

Keep calm and scrap on! / Carina

Getting ready for another December Daily

Even though I promised myself not to do another DD after last time (which I think was 2012) I´m getting back into it this year. Why you might ask? Well, I ask myself the same question but I just could´t keep away after seeing so much awesomeness everywhere. This time I´m not doing a separate album -I will just add some extra pockets in my PL album instead with room for all the days of December. I think for me those extra mini albums just does´t do it for me. I need to keep everything in one place. I´ve been using these gorgeous papers from Simple Stories called Cozy Christmas:

I´ve also added some cards from my own design for Reprint Hobby:

I do have to tell you that I totally forgot to take pics from my PL album on how it looks right now, but I will get back with that.

To help me out with what to put into my DD I´ve been looking at all kinds of prompts and list about photo-a-day and December Daily. Since I didn´t liked any of them just as they were I wanted to create my own version. So I listed some of them side by side and simply picked the one´s I liked for each day and came up with my own list. I might not stick to it hard core style but at least I have something to go with each day. Here it is - and feel free to use it if you want. All I want is that you give me credits for it by linking to my blog, since it´s my own photo in the background!

I´ll print one large for my board and a small one to keep in my Filofax to keep track of my prompts. I might even add them to my calendar on my iPhone as a daily reminder....

I also plan to get better with taking photos with my REAL camera and not just with my iPhone but I won´t be making any promises about that!

So I´m keeping my fingers crossed that I will make through the whole month and be up to date with stuff (since that´s working out so fine when it comes to my regular PL - NOT!)

Project Life in many ways

I´ve been working hard with catching up on my paper Project Life album and now I´m pleased to say that I´ve got all the photos and filler cards in their little pockets all the way to week 23! I also managed to fit filler cards till week 27.  I´m completely finished up to week 16 so here´s that one and week 14+15:

Blogging for Reprint today!

Hi everyone!
Hope you´re having a nice Good Friday and relaxing with family and friends.
Today I´m not gonna show you anything that is Easter related - it´s gonna be a birthday card.
We have a couple of birthdays coming up around here so I thought I´d get a head start. The card I´m showing today has a teal and turquoise theme:

I colored the cute stamp Emelies little kittens - Keya with Spectrum Noir pens. Then I stamped the greeting stamp Grattis hjärta and colored that too with Spectrum Noir. I digged out one of my old decorative scissors and cut out the heart. I also inked all the paper edges.
As decorations I used lace, half pearls, leaves, white flowers and a brown/teal flower.
The papers I used are  from the new spring collection: Queen of heart and Vintage beige mini dots .

Oh, and I can´t do this post without saying that the stamp is designed by my daughter and the papers are designed by me so this is really special for me! <3 p="">

Time for sharing

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time. It always seems to end so quickly, but I love Christmas time.

It´s just a couple of days left of 2013 and personally it´s been quite the roller coaster ride year. The positive things was going to London with hubby and the wonderful summer we had. The really negative thing was my surgery - blah! Don´t know what I´ve done to deserve that BUT I am determined to stay positive no matter what!

So what do I plan for next year then? I definitely gonna make some major changes about my diet and exercising. I decided that next year will be my healthy year. We´re gonna follow the Mediterranean diet at home and I´m also adding the 5:2 diet to my list.

I´m also planning to get more focused on the things I do and learn to prioritize which is gonna be a challenge being the scatterbrain that I am.

Now it´s time to switch for the fun part and I hope you like it... I made a new digital kit AND some additional Journaling Cards:

I named it Fresh Start since that´s what I´m planning to do 2014. And the best part for you is that
they´re free for personal use!

If you wanna grab the kit click HERE.

And to grab the journaling cards click HERE.

All I´m asking of you is that you leave some loving in the comments here on the blog.
As always I´d be so excited to see what you make with it!

If I´m not back here until the 31th I wanna wish you all
A HAPPY NEW 2014!

Yay! Christmas cards!

Hellooo lovelies!
Time to share some of the new Christmas cards that I made with the colored motifs I showed you earlier this week.  So far I´ve done four - but more are coming!

#1:

The cute Santa is from Nilla´s Stamps, green background paper with stars is one of my designs for Reprint Artstamps and the pearls comes from there too. The lace and pearl ribbon is oldies from my stash.

#2:

...and a close-up to show that I´ve used some glossy accents + stickles on the snow globe:

The Christmas angel is from Mo Manning. Red background paper
from Reprint. I also used one of my favorite frame dies from Spellbinders.

#3:

...and from another angle:

This little cute stamps reminds me a lot of our dd when she was younger. It comes from Saturated Canary. All background papers are designed by me for Reprint Artstamps.  The lace is old.

#4:

Again a stamp from my fav Mo Manning and I´ve used that frame die from
Spellbinders.  Background paper from Reprint. I´ve also used a snow pen.

Thanks for popping by - and I would love a comment from you... ;D
