My planner in December

No one could hardly missed the big craze about planners these days - unless you´ve been living under a rock that is! I´m totally amazed how the paper industry keeps coming up with new plans to get us caught in their web in different ways. A couple of years ago no one hardly knew anything about Project Life/Pocket Scrapbooking but what a thing it is these days.
I guess planners and decorating them is the new IT thing and the market is exploding of stuff for just this.

Well. Let me start with saying that decorating your planner isn´t a new thing - I´ve done that to some extent way back - like in the school days and that wasn´t yesterday.  But the way people showing up theirs today - it´s like mini scrapbooking books! I won´t go that far but I can´t resist decorating mine too since I like things looking pretty!

Things get a lot easier too when you get CT stuff play around with. Just look at this wonderful December Planner collection from Mari Koegelenberg and Mommyish:

So for December I decided to go all in and I´ve been decorating like crazy:

I printed my planner pages on regular paper on a laser printer. That way I know it won´t smudge when I´m writing. The divider pages and all the little elements have been printed on thicker paper and I reinforced the edges on the dividers with some washi tapes. I´ve also decorated with a lovely stamp set from My Favorite Things called Jingled All The Way (which apparently is out of stock everywhere). I haven´t decided yet if I´m gonna add some color to my Santas or not....

I really LOVED going all crazy in my beloved Filofax A5 planner and I can totally get it why people do it. I just hope I left enough space to do my planning on!

Happy Days!/Carina

Planner Happy!!!

In my blog post yesterday I showed you my new planner that I´m really looking forward to play with - the gorgeous Filofax in nude. Since I haven´t got it yet I decided to make my job planner a little more pretty using some awesome new planner stuff from Mari Koegelenberg:

If you click HERE you get to her store where there´s even more!

The only problem with my work planner is that it has a spiral binding so I had to use washi tape to adhere the pages to my planner but I think it worked out pretty good. I used the backside on every added page for keeping lists:

This looks so much prettier now don´t you think! It´s so much more FUN to open the planner now!
I also made a front and a back page for my planner using the same stuff:

Since I´m a little late for posting this I urge to go shopping these lovelies NOW since these and a whole other fab stuff ARE ON SALE ending tomorrow Monday 31 Aug! The ones I´m showing are only $1 EACH!

Have a wonderful evening!/Carina

Happy days!

I just have two more days to work - then it´s vacation time! Hooray! I will have lots of time to do just what I wanna do. Sleep long in the mornings and stay up at night. Time for crafting, reading books and just chilling.

Today I´m sharing some new wonderful releases from the designer´s I´m privileged to work with and some layouts of course!

I want to start with this gorgeous planner collection that Mari Koegelenberg just released over at The Digital Press called Summer Punch:

I´ve just got myself a new planner from Webster´s Pages in white and these will look awesome in it! I ran out of ink so I haven´t been able to print anything but I´ll show you what I make with as soon as I´ve done it! The pic is linked to the shop and there you can see some examples on how it looks.

I also got this absolutely gorgeous collection from Mari:

I´ve just made one layout with it so far but I´m definitely gonna use it for my PL album this summer:

Then we have this fab kit and alpha from The Nifty Pixel:

I made this layout:

Be sure to check out The Nifty Pixel blog for a coordinating freebie to this kit.

I also got to play with a new collection by Laitha´s Designs in a different color scheme than usual for her - but I love it!

For this I used an old photo of my DH when we were in Croatia:

Finally I wanna show you two of the new releases over at Scrap Stacks that I´ve been working with:

Once again you will see me using a pic of myself for a layout:

Then I had this idea in my head about the campfire kit and this is the result:

That last layout took aaaages to finish and if I had guessed that before I got started I´d problably never done it.  I´m happy with the result though.

So with that said I´m calling it quits for today! See ya around!

Days flying by

I love the month of May! So many things happens in nature and summer´s around the corner AND I have my birthday in May! BUT it´s also one of the most busiest months at work and that means that all crafty and artsy things are left on the back burner. I can honestly tell you that I feel literally sick when I can´t craft/create but there´s simply no energy left after a week at work. If you did´t know I work full time as a teacher for kids aged 8-10. At least the summer holiday is only two weeks away which means VACATION TIME!!! Yes!

I have done a couple of digital layouts though and here they are:

All the layouts are linked to my gallery at Scrap Stacks for full credits.

Now I´m gonna go on some mojo hunting to see where it went. Probably checked out when stress checked in... ;D
Laters babes!

I confess

Today I confess. I´m one of all those bad people who´s flooding the digital galleries with my digital layouts by posting FIVE at almost the same time. I usually try to spread them out, but this time I have no other option that to post them ALL at the same time. I was late home today and I won´t be home all day tomorrow.

And now I´m gonna flood my blog with all those layouts - so brace yourselves!

First off is one where I try get some spring feeling using  Fresh as a daisy collab by Two Tiny Turtles and Studio Basic (at Scrap Stacks):

This one is made using a fab collection called Girl Friday by The Nifty Pixel, Scrap Stacks:

Now, who doesn´t LOVE donuts? Well, I do and I just love the gorgeous Life is sweet collection by Mari Koegelenberg and Mommyish over at The Digital Press:

For the next two I used the same collection by Wendy P at Scrap Stacks called The Sweetest Heart:

For the one at the top I also used a template from Two Tiny Turtles called Sweet as candy and for the bottom one from Wendy P from the set Scrap Pockets 3.

OK - so it was´t so bad was it?
I´ll be back in a couple of days .... so have it GREAT!/ Carina

It´s a spring thing

I´m so happy right now since I can feel that spring is on it´s way! It´s getting lighter and lighter every day and the sun´s feeling warmer. The birds are singing and I can see little bulbs peeking out in the garden. Just wish it was a little warmer though, but we´re getting there....

Today I´m showing some new digital layouts that I made and I´ve posted the links to the kits I used under each layout.

Let´s go DIGI!

It´s really time for some posting about digiscrapping in the blog.  The last posts have been a lot about Project Life but now it´s ALL about layouts!
I have several to show you so this is gonna be both brand news and some that´s a little older. But they´re all made during this month at least:
